I saw The Hangover and Bruno this weekend - both were hilarious! Bruno is extremely filthy - the scene with the psychic (or whatever)...mwaha!
The Hangover was very funny too- the Alan character was ace. And Bradley Cooper in that suit - corrr!

Lol I wasn't looking at the Chinese man's groinal area , but I laughed out loud when he got back in the car and the window went back up "Goodbye motherfuckeeeeeeerrr" Haha! The photos when the credits rolled were very funny too.

Absolutely nothing I've seen this year compares to the Swedish vampire flick - yeah I know, yet another one! - 'Let The Right One In'. It's sublime on every level; aesthetically the film is as striking as any, despite being quite low key, while the performances of the two lead children are great, and the whole production is hugely atmospheric. A better film than any since 'Pan's Labyrinth', and a completely fresh approach to the genre. There's more chance of Hull City making a proven, top quality signing than this film being bettered in 2009.

Gonna hire that soon, my flatmate wants me to see 'Watchmen' tonight but I have already declined. He has put me off a bit with his 'In my top 5 films of all time' hyperbole (he is very shrewd in all things film but I doubt this a bit).

I've got superhero movie fatigue, so 2 and a half hours watching the story of a comic strip I'd never heard of doesn't appeal to me either. It felt almost comforting to retreat to the safe Hanks/Ryan rom-com territory of 'You've Got Mail' last night. ;D I've got to ask though; if 'Watchmen' is in his all-time top 5, what else is?

Well Taxi Driver, Godfather and DMS are...

The Time Traveller's Wife. 4/10. So, so disappointed. They changed the order of events, missed out crucial plotlines and changed the bloody ending. Also, Eric Bana is not my idea of Henry, so that was disappointing too. But Rachel McAdams is really great as Clare. I still cried though Don't bother with this film, read the book instead - it's amazing!

My Mum's going to see it for a girl at her work's birthday, I don't think she's really that fussed about going!
Hate it when they really change books around and chop bits out
