Once a cheater always a cheater? My friends and I all had a discussion about this the other day and it very much split the group. Any thoughts? *waits for Kieran and Jools to defend the morals of the nation*

Im in the yes camp on this one. Personally i would split with the missus first before i coped off with prospective Mrs HGO`s.
I do think if you have it in you to do it once you WILL do it again

Its like the saying "Whats Brown and sticky? A stick"
Not true is it it could be a slighty melted Curly Wurly or a bit of Cat poo.
I think it does unless you have mass pyschotheropy to change your ways then......... in a nutshell yes

Any thoughts? *waits for Kieran and Jools to defend the morals of the nation* Personally I reckon it depends on the person.. It doesn't just apply to cheating though, being a thief, liar, alcoholic etc.. I used to think that once a cheat always a cheat but not so much any more.. Mebbe it was because I had a trust issue with fellas

it depends on the situation as well. And whether they've gotten away with it in the past.

No, it wasn't just that some blokes were.. are untrustworthy, I just had trust issues - I had the issue, not the fella but sometimes with good reason.

Motive and Opportunity combine to make people commit many a "crime" (and crime!) I dunno, I'm generally pretty unimpressed by people who cheat... just do the honest thing and split up first!

Like my best mate cheated on his ex a couple of times towards the end, but that was because the relationship was going up the creek. Now I know he shouldn't have done it, and should have had the balls to end his relationship before he went off with other lasses, and he knows that too, but I also know that he wouldn't do it in a relationship that he felt was going to last.

I was adding another 'bullet point' to the argument as oppose to continuing yours..
