I've got a flex day today, tidying up my bits etc., and I've got the TV on. I've had to switch it off as it's unbelievable shite.
Can someone explain to me why, you would want to go on national TV and air your marital problems to all and sundry. My theory is that normal people are leading their lives be it work school etc., whilst these individual watch this purile stuff and relate to it.
Just like a reality version of the Sun, who's shagging who, how long its been going on for and if they don't believe each other they'll have a DNA or lie detector test.
God help us, we are descending into what is America more and more each day!
Is it just me - what everyones swing on this rubbish

1. There's a lot of TV programmes that should never have been commissioned.
2. Morality seems to be a thing of the past for a lot of people.

I can tell you now, if my girlfriend dragged me onto one of those TV shows to accuse me of something/share something with me, I'd just tell her where to stick it and walk off. What's wrong with discussing it in private and being honest with each other? ![>:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/angry.png) (For the record, no, it's not just 'cause of the TV thing that'd get her slung - the girl I'm going out with would never do that, nor would any girl I'd go out with. Ergo, if she does, she's changed for the worse and I want no part of it.)

Some people have no shame, it seems. I hesitate to say it but possibly some people are even thick enough to think one of those shows will help... ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) and that's not the way I like to think...

1. There's a lot of TV programmes that should never have been commissioned. It's the mushroom effect of Oprah2. Morality seems to be a thing of the past for a lot of people. Agreed, lack of good family values3. Why's the thread called "state scroungers" ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) Changed title 4. Is it something to do with the well loved ditty "you are a scouser, a dirty scouser?" ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) ;D I'll have to ask Shippers, he lives there and knows best - but then again he fancies Rice's Arse!"

The reason they do it....they want to have their 15 minutes of fame. There's a disturbing trend in Britain where people just want to be on TV and be famous instead of getting a real job. With role models like Chatelle who won Celebrity Big Brother without actually being a celebrity we have created a sub culture that is very disturbing.
Unfortunately some people are being brought into this world thinking that this is normal behaviour. If you think it's bad now wait to see what the next generation will be like!
