I'm intrigued that a lot of Hilary Clinton supporters have now said they're going to back the Republican John McCain instead of Democrat Obama. Does this go to prove that American politics isn't about party politics but about the individual or dare I say there are some that just don't want to see a black man as president? It's not easy being Black in America.......... or in Obama's case 1/2 Black !!! . how so? *said in mock japanese accent*

Another lovely twist for the Republican right. McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mates because she borders on white supremacy and now the anti abortion, anti sex before marriage candidate has just announced that her teenage daughter is pregnant. So who do the zealots vote for now???

So who do the zealots vote for now??? The majority of the Southern States will vote for Hill Billy Hank from the Christian Racist American Party (CRAP)!

American voters do need to ask themselves, "If Sarah Palin's abstinence-only anti-choice policies have worked so well that she's a grandmother at 44, will they work for your family?" Not that I suppose it'll be a burning issue for many voters

The collapse of Lehman brings economic issues front and centre and that should favour the Democrats. Still a way to go though...

I thought Obama came out of the recent presidential debate looking the stronger out of the two.

I thought Obama came out of the recent presidential debate looking the stronger out of the two. cos he's not an oap...? ;D Well partly, yeah! Early on during the 98 minute debate I did actually think that McCain looked like he could drop dead at any second. He had shit loads of make up on and looked like he had actually been cryogenically frozen and thawed out a couple hours before. Obama not only didn't look like he could die at any second but he looked like someone who is in complete control, his posture throughout was commanding and he held his own. On the other hand McCain didn't look Obama in the eye once I think... granted he did tackle important issues surprisingly well but Obama always had the edge imo.
