It is indeed!
And so we begin With a determined grin To get our work in To a book that won't be thin
Sixosis is the name We write without shame Though it may bring pain We continue, for little gain
So let those creative juices flow And show us what you know Novices, experts, everyone give it a go And don't worry, it doesn't have to rhyme

I just went on "Forget Work" The board has been cleaned out Erasing happy memories Of port and cheese and gout. The quality of our content Could never be in doubt We did spurificate far more Than any drunken lout But all is over and at an end As is my poetic offering Cos I think I might just cry...

A classic of A2V's which I happen to remember from the "art of haiku" thread thread there (RIP) "You posture, I post Egos massaged and cajoled You'll get your desserts" ;D

Don't be sad Jules, think of it as a fluid movement. We started on the BBC, moved to the Spurious board, then onto here, went to Forget Work, and then came back here. Through it all we've always had a laugh wherever we've been, and while some have drifted away, new people have joined ............. and I see no reason why it shouldn't continue to be so!! <busily scouts round for the potential next home of the spurios> just kidding!!

Well... yeah... I'm basically just pissed off that stuff I wrote there is (presumably permanently) lost. I had a look with the intention of reposting certain quality items in here for the forthcoming "Sixosis" publication I'm impressed I remembered that haiku of yours! (above)

Oooohhh I'd forgotten I'd written that, it's quite good. Hidden meanings ensconced in a Haiku!! Yeah it was good, and the context was suitable... it still works without that though! To my delight I have just found my Spurious Initiation Test stored on my computer here...! <ahem> ROCK ON!

He who is slim Shippers, the real slim Shippers has just e-mailed me, providing further proof of the spurious telepathic link. He's very busy in work but the music referred to earlier is on CD and his home computer is geschafted so he cannot send you t' MP3. Magic markers are tasty.

For the record, that's actually 'just deserts' - deserts being derived from deserve. A common mistake, and I know you like to be 100% correct Jules

True, it's message may be one of bloody murder contemplated due to bearing witness to digital dry humping... but much great art is created through stress!

I once knew a sausage called Dave He was fat, funny and filled with pork The problem with Dave is he didn’t behave And one day he got stabbed by a fork
