Can't decide if today's been a good day or not... Started out superbly, but that total's not looking anywhere near so comfortable now C'mon England... don't do an England!

The Aussies will knock these off tomorrow......bastards! I thought a lead of 600 at least was needed, it will be tight i reckon.

If we can get an early wicket, it'll look a very different scenario - we'll be into their bowlers then, after all. Having had a day to rest, our bowlers should be ready to come steaming in again, so we could still sneak it.
We definitely need to go in looking to win, though, as opposed to the 'not losing' mentality that has existed more recently. It's still do-able; it just needs a proper effort.

What I don't get is why England didn't have 30 minutes this morning playing like they were in a 20-20 match to even put 50 more on the board. Now things look too close for comfort.

there are two things you can guarentee about the aussie bastards.... 1. they're aussies, 2. they're bastards....

Trying to decide who the hero of the game for England is - no doubt that Flintoff's Michelle in the 2nd innings was key, but then where would we have been without Strauss and Cook's 196 opening stand? Anderson and Swann were superb bowling at the Aussies in their first innings too, Prior and Colly did a great job of topping up our 2nd innings' score, and Swann took 4 wickets in the 2nd innings too. In the day's euphoria, it'd be very easy to hail Freddie as the hero, but it's truly been a team effort this time out!

Just watched the highlights (I've been in a valley in Wales that didn't have Channel 5 or a phone signal.). What a spell by Freddie!
