Aussies all out for 160, England currently 58-3... Hard to say whose day this was, but in the grand scheme of things, we've set ourselves up well to take the result if the batsmen can steady the ship... ...we're screwed C'MON STRAUSS! C'MON TROTT!

I like how the news reports are saying it was a Flintoff-inspired victory. Apart from that run-out, he didn't actually do all that much... Great result for England though, and Whooo! The Ashes are home! ;D

Ha, yeah. But in all fairness, it did really help change the course of the match, because Ponting was looking like his usual stubborn, arsey self. Credit goes to Hussey for calling that single when it went straight to the man though. ;d
Swann deserves more recognition for his bowling of 35 overs (or there abouts) yesterday. Probably deserved more wickets, but he did his bit!

Key point, yes, but the media are fawning over Freddie far too much for my liking.

But it's always been the case, Flintoff will always get the headlines. I suspect Broad will be the next media darling, if he carries on like this.

The best thing about this Ashes win?
The Aussies would almost certainly still hold the Ashes if only they'd been able to bowl Monty out in Cardiff. That makes me lol ;D

Irony of ironies. Ireland denied ODI win over England by an Irishman. Eoin Morgan, the canute prevented Trent Johnston scoring a six by tipping the ball back into play so that England win by just three runs. Time to drop Colly and Bopara. Good nknock from Joe Denly though, definite England Test material.
