No matter how much we are offered, we need to keep our best players this season. Yes, we may get £10-12m from selling the best players, but promotion next season means £60m+. We can not sell the future of the club, especially as these players are so young. Hennessey, Kightly, SEB, Keogh, Jarvis, Olly etc are vital to the future of Wolves, we have to build on what we have, not restart. MM needs to be given the support of the board and possibly even more vital, the support of the fans. He will progress this team to where we all want it to go, but he needs the backing of us all. A couple of central defenders with pace (and youth on their side )are certainly needed, but I believe that the rest of the team is good enough to get us automatic promotion. Come on the Wolves!

Sunderland and Wolves are to scrap it out for Barnet’s £1m-rated winger Albert Adomah, who only arrived from Harrow in January.
Wolves are in line to make a move for Newcastle United defender Peter Ramage.
Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers and Everton are among clubs tracking Seyi Olofinjana.

Wolves have pulled the plug on a potential deal for Newcastle defender Peter Ramage because he wants too much money.
With centre-half duo Gary Breen and Jody Craddock out of contract and due to have their futures announced today, boss Mick McCarthy had considered a move for 24-year-old Ramage.
Ramage, handed a free transfer by Toon chief Kevin Keegan, was one of several possibilities under McCarthy’s microscope as he attempts to mould the winning formula for a fresh promotion assault next season.
McCarthy has also been linked with £1m-rated Hearts’ captain Christophe Berra, who is also 24.
But sources say Ramage wanted more than Wolves were willing to commit to.
The Ashington-born defender, who has played 50 League games for Newcastle, wants to explore his options in the hope he can clinch a move to stay in the Premier League, possibly with one of the promoted clubs.
Loan players Darron Gibson, Kevin Kyle and Graham Stack are expected to return to parents clubs Manchester United, Coventry and Reading respectively after their loan periods expired.

Wolves are eyeing a loan swoop for Spurs defender Chris Gunter.
A high-powered Molineux delegation of owner-chairman Steve Morgan, manager Mick McCarthy and coach Terry Connor watched Gunter in action for Wales against England in the under-21s international at Wrexham last night.
The trio will have seen Wolves players Wayne Hennessey and David Edwards impress for the Welsh despite a 2-0 defeat.
But Gunter is believed to be top of McCarthy’s list as he looks to re-stock his defence for next season after releasing captain Gary Breen and making Darren Ward and Rob Edwards available for transfer.
Sources say Gunter was the man being checked out as McCarthy looks to continue his ‘young and hungry’ policy for next season.
The 18-year-old Spurs defender is quick, tall and powerful but is also good on the ball.
Despite his tender years, he is mature well beyond his age and has already won three full Welsh caps – all alongside Hennessey.
Last night, he played as a central defender but he can operate anywhere across the back four.
Spurs snapped up Gunter from Cardiff for an initial £2m in January after playing just 28 League games.
The White Hart Lane club see the youngster as one for the future and they may allow him to return to the Championship on loan to gain more experience.
Gunter isn’t likely to break into the Spurs side at the moment as they have Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate and Michael Dawson to call on at the back, while they signed full-backs Alan Hutton for £10m from Rangers and Gareth Bale only recently.
“We want to get into the Premier League and the only way we’re going to do that is by keeping our best players and adding to them,” said McCarthy.
“There are so many things about the season to be positive about for next season.”
Wolves are also being linked again with Leicester striker Steve Howard.

Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey insists he will stay at Molineux next season – even if he loses his place to Matt Murray.
Hennessey is being watched by a host of clubs, with Middlesbrough the latest to join the Premier League regulars Everton in keeping a watching brief on the 21-year-old.
“If Matt is playing, I will help him and it will be the same if I’m playing,” said Hennessey.
“I’d like to think I’ll be a Wolves player by the start of next season. I hope so.
“There’s competition all the time for the shirt. I’ve just got to keep playing. Matt is a fantastic lad who I get on very well with. So it will be interesting to see what the gaffer does – whether he plays me or Matt.
“We’ll find out in pre-season.” Hennessey wants to try his luck at the top level but is happy to continue his development at Molineux at least for another season.
“I went in to see the gaffer at the end of the season and it was all positive, so we’ll see what happens next season,” he said.
“So far I’m staying and if I’ve got a Wolves shirt on, I’ll try my best for Wolves.
“It’s nice to hear clubs are coming in for me but I will keep trying my best, whoever I’m playing for. If offers do come in, it means I’m doing something well and I’d like to keep doing it – let’s hope next season I get some more offers!
“I’m confident I can continue my development at Wolves, definitely.”
And he believes he couldn’t have a better ‘teacher’ than Murray.
“Matt has been around the game – he’s played in the Premier League, which I haven’t done yet – and he’s given me a lot of confidence boosters when he talks to me,” he said.
“He gives me advice on the pitch and on the training ground and if I do something wrong, he helps me put it right. He’s good.”

Derby County midfielder David Jones could be on his way to Wolverhampton Wanderers or Preston North End, BBC Radio Derby understands.
The Rams are thought to be prepared to sell the 23-year-old, but want to recoup the £1m they paid Manchester United for him in 2007.
Rams' manager Paul Jewell is re-shaping his squad after relegation, with up to 10 players likely to leave.
Jones scored seven goals in 47 games in two seasons for the Rams.

Would be sound business for Wolves though.

Jones is decent but he's very lightweight and a bit of a sicknote - its not a case of needing the money, its a case of getting rid of players who maybe dont want to be there. If it was me, i'd keep him as he'll be useful in the CCC but we'll see if Wolves cough up the £1.1 million. They're after Steve Howard as well though, maybe they'll come and buy Eddie Lewis and Andy Todd if we ask nicely! ;D ;D

Fairly strong rumours today that SEB is off to Everton for £6 million... Could be nothing in it other than forlorn hopes that Argyle had some sell on clause. Given how we were stitched up by his first contract I think that highly unlikely...

Wolves have tempted Burnley with a £2.25m cash offer plus Stephen Elliott for forward Kyle Lafferty.
Boss Mick McCarthy hopes to bring a year-long chase for the Northern Ireland international to a close by beating off bids from Rangers and Celtic.
Rangers already have a £2.5m bid on the table for the 20-year-old, who is one of the hottest properties outside the Premier League.
Celtic made a £3.5m cash plus player offer in the last transfer window and the Hoops are expected to come in again for the player, who scored nine goals from left midfield this season.
News of fresh interest in Lafferty was greeted with a flat bat at Turf Moor, where it’s believed they are seeking £4m for their prize asset.
