£108k mortgage for a flat in London!!!!. *mumbles angrily about property* Yeah... Seeing as people are interested, the "luck" is being an only child, plus my aunt having no kids - hence early inheritance, or to look at it another way, it's an investment of the family as much as strictly my own place. Whichever way you look at it though I'm fortunate.

Buying at the right time and looking for good value in the property itself and the area! I have about 57% equity in my house now. Do you still love me even though I'm poor and northern? We all love you, poor northern wench!

I still have inheritence to come. Don't know what I'll do with it? Well yes there is more to come, though I don't especially herald the deaths of my nearest and dearest! Buy a second property Cav... or go playing with stocks and shares, I can see you doing that too...

In the sense that you have money, albeit in property. Yes, I'm comfortable. Wouldn't say rich. At the same time, the £3k service charge each year causes me endless woe. Plus as you know, money ain't everything
