Cricket is boring.
Jimmy is the only one I know to be interesting.

How are you ? Still well I hope. Time for a sojourn on this ship of hopelessness. ;D Who's been letting go of the tiller ? Swann was shite. Watford lad Finn got a brace which was nice to see.

I don't feel so crap this evening because a) I've had at least 12 hours sleep and b) They've not got 600 yet. But Mike Hussey's back in my nightmares.

I'm making a lot of random noises at my laptop and will almost certainly run up and down the corridor should England get a wicket.

They sound like they've all bowled well. This is so agonising! Who did we use the referrals on?

This is quite grim and depressing. I'm going to bed because they seem to do better when I don't listen. Also because Simon Hughes has just said "homoerotic" and Michael Vaughan has said, "that's what Test cricket's all about".
This is in addition to earlier with Vaughan getting his hand in a crack and what Justin Langer gets up to in his "man time"...

We're all doing cartwheels in the snow here in sunny Watford. Our boy has taken SIX wickets. Sod the rest of the team. ;D Is it grim up north Han ? No Constable country is it.

I need to watch the highlights. All I ask is for a boring, tedious, batting performance, where nobody plays a rash stroke. This is the time for Collingwood to step up, for Ian Bell to show he's changed and for England to get a lead and Swanny/the others to get a five-fer. Alternatively, I can wake up from this dream and face reality. At least Strauss was not out, so we still have 10 wickets in hand. It's not too bad actually, I do miss the flats of Suffolk, being able to refer to Bury St Edmunds as Bury and not be gawped at and having other Ipswich fans, but it's nice. Chilly, usually raining but nice. Constable country doesn't really agree with me due to Biology and Geography field trips last year. Flatford Mill is certainly not as pleasant as he made it out to be, Willy Lott's cottage is now a place for teenagers to stay in whilst waiting to do coursework...

Strauss out for 110. To Marcus North. Still, well played Straussy, especially after the first ball yesterday!

I should probably go to bed. I've spent the past 10 minutes wondering what Ponting's doing as the overs were still on 78. I then realised it was tea.

I have so much work to do, I have to find a TV so I can throw insults at Narwich players that can't hear me and I need to sleep. But I cannot drag myself away from this Test!

I have the same problem. Its an irrational fear of an england collapse as soon as i switch it off (yes it will happen anyway) and its actually half decent test match cricket!
