We've sold our full allocation and we'll be well supported but i cant see us getting anything more than a point with our injury hit squad. Blades 2-1 Derby i reckon!

Lost 4-2 with your 4th in the 95th minute. Great game that could have gone either way and the score flattered you.... our defence is shocking!

Lost 4-2 with your 4th in the 95th minute. Great game that could have gone either way and the score flattered you.... our defence is shocking! not sure i totally agree.... ... there is was at half time, shocked and bemused. Not only were United winning but we were actually playing football, ACTUAL football, ON THE FLOOR! Furthermore we were in control of the game, derby's ancient midfield, up against our spiritly youngsters (average of midfield = 21) appearing to have run themselves out after the first 20 minutes, and the expectant Morgs v Hulse tussle was nowhere to be seen. How was this possible? - tactical triumph for Blackwell? nope. due to injuries Blackwell was FORCED to play not only TWO wingers but TWO TWO FOOTED wingers. Cotterill setting up both goals, Naughton dispatching the first. words such as "walk" and "over" seemed to be coming together..... ... but alas this is still Sheffield United, one failed clearance later and we've a bar-storming 2nd half on our hands, which Henderson's 2nd SHOULD have put to bed, only for Bromby to fuck up and allow you a 2nd*bicycle clip time*. It could have ended 7-5, not least because the linesman persistantly got offside calls wrong. I think Villa *probably* should have had a penalty, but it was hard to tell as he dived like a girl and hulse should have scored a 2nd - but equally Henderson had 3 clear-cut chances to get his hat-trick. We really should have walked it, but our defending let us down. ... another Sad thing to report is, THATS THE BEST I'VE SEEN US PLAY ALL SEASON Heres a question: Who's the better targetman Hulse or Henderson? Henderson guarentees you win the physical battle up-front, and is consisent at bringing others into the game, however he's been sent of twice and though Hulse isn't as consistent at the targetman aspects of the game, he does score more and is proven as Premier League Quality (Proven with us ) Good game for the Neutrals. It was nice to see a team with supporters at THE lane.

Mate - fact of the matter is that our makeshift back 4 were shocking! We created as much as you over the 90 mins, more so in the 2nd half when Bannan came on.
Could quite easily have nicked a point and i do think 4-2 was harsh on us.

you could have, but only cos we went belly up in the last 45 minutes it took be 60 minutes to realise that fat bastard marking Henderson was Todd ;D

you could have, but only cos we went belly up in the last 45 minutes it took be 60 minutes to realise that fat bastard marking Henderson was Todd ;D you went belly up cos we suddenly started playing - Bannan & Davies started to be more effective and we caused you problems only for our fuckwitted back 4 to screw up again.. see what i mean about makeshift defence - Andy Fucking Todd FFS! ;D ;D

both goals still came from our defence errors though - the 2nd goal bromby demostrated his ability to turn into a clown at the drop of a hat You were pretty good second half. Davies looks like a handy player and Hulse was back to his best, Naysmith couldn't get anywhere near Barazite and that Banana fella looks like he knows how to play a ball. Your defence is definately the weak point. he looks like a fat hairdresser (Todd)

LOL Mort! ;D
Our back 4 has been torn to pieces through injury mate. Clough has said he needs to bring some more defensive players in asap as we are putting fat square pegs in round holes ;D. Only Nyatanga (possibly) and Connelly would play under normal circumstances.

Derby manager Nigel Clough: "Until we can defend at a reasonable level, then that's going to be the pattern I'm afraid.
"We have to improve to try and make it a little harder for the opposition to score.
"The first three from our point of view were very, very poor goals."
