Serious question...why is Harry recreating an old Spurs team that wasn't very good in the first place?

I think Spurs are a bloody joke in the transfer market! To re sign 3 players that only 6 months ago you sold is madness!
And many of the signings that Spurs make are over inflated buys for players that have very little impact i.e Bent, Pavlyuchenko, Bentley etc!
The owners just sanction signings to appease the fans! They would do better to nurture some of the youth players like Arsenal do and sign one or two decent players when needed!

I think with the amount of money Spurs have spent over the last 5 seasons, their debt must be bloody huge!

I liked Jol. When we played them in the cup he said 'We musht not undereshtimate going to the Nottingham place' (as it turns out they thumped us 3-0). I seriously thought he was going to say 'Right boysh thats the interview done, lets go shmoke a spliff' ;D

If we are in debt it cant be much cos we have sold a lot as well, and we wouldnt be building a new ground if money was tight

The way most clubs operate is to take on massive loans against the clubs assets. Good chance that all the money for players and the stadium will be lent on that basis. Spurs will spend circa £300m on the stadium and then pay it back for decades. It's a dangerous option and that is why Arsenal now can't compete in the transfer market! You watch the same happen to Liverpool!

I've figured out where that surplus money went so the banks stopped lending to each other. It's in Sir John Mad's bank account!!!
