Priskin deserves a slap. Needless sending off cruising at 2-0 only to gift two points away against one of the so called better sides in the division. Bloody annoying to say the least. We should be up in the playoffs by now.

Should make for an interesting game LW. Unlike last season we are solid at home & should have taken Cardiff to the cleaners despite the fact they are on a great run in the division. Its a youngish side which is playing more & more football. Hoskins & Priskin were starting to forge a great partnership with Williamson dominant in midfield & Harley & SMith marauding down the flanks. Sadly Darren Ward wont be available due to the loan terms from Wolves which means a patched up defence. I'd hate to se Bromby up against Iwelumo. Should be an open game with a fair few goals methinks. Enjoy the game. You are one of the better lots of visiting fans to the Vic.

Yeh, im really going forward to this game Is row GG right at the back? we've got a few defence problems also Its the eight row up in the Vicarage Road End. Seats I'm pretty sure are numbered smallest from right in the picture to highest left of the Vicarage Road Stand. Its a pretty good view. Poor sods are those right at ground level or those tucked far back if everyone is standing.

Hope you won't be singing as loudly come the end of the game LW. Looks like Aidy will put Rasiak alongside Hoskins. Shame really because he & Priskin were starting to forge a telepathic relationship. Doyley might be recalled possibly in place of loan tied Ward with Maricrappa remaining at right back. If only Oshodi were a bit older or Beech fit we mgith have some more options back there. Possibly Dale Bennett ?

Very disappointed to say the least. At least one point dropped proably three. It shows how poor this division is again if Wolves are second overall. Considering our performances we should be in a playoff spot. We've outplayed Burnley for a half did the same to Cardiff who are up there for example. Smudger missed his pen obvious from his body language , we a couple off the line , hit the inside of the bar. Infact we could quite easily have replicated Norwich knocking five in last week . However the defence let us down again. As I expected both full backs were awful and only when he was ordered to get out there. Had we Ward or Demerit in or Poom or Loach in goal we would have taken the game. Pleased by Rasiak. Hoskins a constant menace again. We have scorers upfront O'Toole weighing in with goals from midfield for the first time since Richard Johnson but our defence is poor though the work rate is great. I honestly would not mind seeing Parkes take over at right back just to see how he does. It is such a shame Oshodi & co are not one season further on as we really have a great set of kids. Jenkins was on the bench and looks a player read to take over from Eustace . These kids beat essentially West Hams first team. Thoroughly disappointed. Well done to Wolves you took your chances but on the basis of your recent performances McCarthy has lot of work to do.

Okay, I'm gonna make the point first that we've not been playing poorly right the way through the season. We didn't get to top of the league by the standard of play we seem to have displayed recently. Personally, I think it also shows just how exciting the Championship is when anyone can beat anyone. Much better than the Prem, where you've got the 'Big Four' and Hull. Right, that's that dealt with and onto the main point of this post. What did Watford fans make of the officials? I was listening to the Wolves commentary, so bias may well be an issue, but it sounded like they had a shocker. According to them, the penalty shouldn't have been given, we should have had a penalty ourselves after Iwelumo was brought down, plus he was given offside from a throw-in and booked for a succession of fouls that should never have even been given. Opinions?

We've had a sucession of poor officials Pete. Excuse my spelling. This new keyboard requires more depression to get the characters out being enclosed in a protective envelope to prevent dust ingress etc. Iwelumo was penalised just for throwing himself about on the smaller & useless Doyley and Bromby did well to cover for him. Needless niggly officiating. It was a penalty in my mind but I was glad to see the referee wave it away and MM going nuts. ;D Smudgers penalty was a fair call too. Last ten minutes was madcap mayhem but on the balance of play we should have shaded it but with such a poor defence bereft of Ward and Demerit and with all he full backs looking clueless it was no surprise to see you lot coming down the flanks at every turn. Blake was a constant menace and he & Iwelumo were dangerous everytime they came forward. Mind you after Bromby conceded a needless free kick Lee should have organised the wall better. Its such a shame Loach is injured as he would be a new Ben Foster. We need some decent full backs ASAP. Plus Demerit fit & Ward signed permanently. Otherwise I honestly think we can take any side in this division. As I said last week happy as larry and down the next. Our position is misleading but I fear January .Unless we get a new buyer in some of the better players ie Smith, Priskin & Hoskins who ave really stepped up the mark (probably because at last we are laing the ball into channels on the ground) we will finish lower mid half when we have a jolly good chance of making a playoff spot.

Yeah, it sounded like we got away with it in the last few minutes. Foley in particular was a hero for us with his two clearances off the line in the space of 60-odd seconds. Had to be a former Luton player didn't it. ;D

More doom . After dominating the first half at Deepdale and with O'Toole hitting a post and another one cleared off the line a PNE goal against the run of play sucked the fight out of the Horns in a tepid scrappy second half. Richard Lee was at fault for PNE's second. Its an absolute howler with the ball bouncing over him ,see if you can catch it on SSN. ;D Plusses Bromby & Maricrappa out Demerit solid with Ward. Super passing again but with better finishing should have wrapped the game up first half. Shows how tight the division is if you don't take the chances you will pay. Tending to the wrong side of the division unfortunately.

Its Yellow v Tangerine today. Coldplay v Feeder.
Three points desperately needed. Truth is our football deserves a far higher placing in this league.
Should expect the same team as on Tuesday that should have buried PNE by halftime.
Priskin is still suspended and Williamson is a doubt with injury. By the terms of his loan arrangement Steve Kabba who has performed well for the Seasiders is unable to play leaving former Blackburn Rovers Ben Burgess and former Ranger Alan Gow upfront.
Tricky Adam Hamill and Stephen McPhee need to be marked closely as they will provide the service for the bustling Burgess. Hope the defence have been working intensively as this ha sproved our Achilles heel , but for which we might be in the playoff spots.

Well Harley, Smith.Hoskins and Rasiak did the business. Pity the rest of the team did not. Scoring for fun but unable to keep them out which will lead to a relegation scrap. Richard Lee is a weak spot.Never the best of communicators his timidity has infected the centre backs who lack confidence in him and our full backs don't seem to know the meaning of the word. Eustace and O'Toole were combative in patches but whose passing lacks any accuracy or creativity. When Willo came on we markedly improved. Its the defence that really needs drilling during the week. I cannot wait for Loach to get back as he is twice the keeper Lee is. I'd rather Tyler on loan get a go. Get the kids in at full back ie Parkes they cannot be any worse than Sadler and Doyley. Since Burkinshaw and Hockaday left our set pieces have been poorer too and the fear rises when the opposition attacks. Blackpool are nothing special but we gifted another three points away. Pardew and Boothroyd to go soon ? At least Charlton have finances to fall back on we could not afford to remove Boothy even tough he has credit to him completely altered our playing style. Pity he did not do that as promised last summer.
