Well done Trav. I came about 30th out of over 2000 runners in the Reading 10k. Did it in approx 36 mins. Very impressive Cav! Is the Reading 10k an international event? It's open to the world yes.

Well I won a bronze medal when I was about 9 or 10, they were doing a World Cup competition my team was Nigera and we were the third best out of about 20 teams, not bad. (football btw of course) I shyed away from play for teams since primary school though, I'm not sure why because I reckon I could fairly easy get into the school team, a secondary school with 1000 pupils. I do well as a cross country runner though. And I managed a to run around a 5.30 minute mile last week after almost no training, that's good by the way, I'm actually a pretty good middle distance runner. When I used to play football with my large group of mates between the ages of about 14-18 I was the fastest player on the pitch with good stamina too, but my technique and shooting wasn't great, I could catch anyone though.

Did you emotionally melt in his presence? ;D Yes I've met him a couple of times and he's lovely. I met a lot of the Leeds side during our 'glory period', they used to have their pre-match meal at The Marriott in Leeds city centre when O'Leary was in charge. I worked in the newsagents/gift shop there in my student days. Only completely lost my composure once though, when I got Noel Gallagher's autograph when I saw him on Briggate in the mid to late 90's. ;D

Legendary British gold medal winning decathlete, and owner of a wicked handlebar moustache!! ;D Nah I see myself more as a non-league, much worse, lacking quality version of Beckford but with better stamina and less lazy. ;D So if we drop about 3 leagues or more I might have a calling. HA HA
