Out of curiosity, are any of the Labour fans at least going to grudgingly accept that Cameron showed key leadership skills in being able to talk passionately and without pre-scripting, or are you all going to do a BBC and skirt round the issue? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) It's only like learning a script Neko. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I'm sure he spent ages on the speech Neko, I always write mine and then sound them off in a room on my own. Or get monika to listen to me. That way it flows more

Even if it's pre-rehearsed, he delivered it exceptionally well, and far... better than... Tony... Blair, with his... pauses for effect, and... key emphasis on... certain words... Frankly, that alone was a breath of fresh air after Gordon's efforts!

I think it was said tongue in cheek but she's fit, intelligent and randy as hell so I wouldn't put it past her to actually want a dabble. I can't believe I'm saying this, but if you like her and it'll be good for you, where's the harm?! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

That way it flows more As I said to H, if it really was pre-rehearsed, he did a great job of delivering it - he actually sounded passionate and like he cared about what he was saying. Frankly, I think that's how all speeches should be delivered; none of this ridiculous reading of scripts and autocues that just about every politician goes for!

'Well-spoken' isn't the issue; it's the fact that he can deliver a speech in a powerful and convincing manner, and actually had the guts to stand up and risk fluffing his lines instead of reading monotonously from a script or orating in a manner that's frankly laughable. Given the situation he was delivering it in, under such high pressure (let's be honest, delivering a speech to the nation is a little different to a boardroom meeting or a play with a few hundred viewers), I thought he did an applause-worthy job. As for the Eton thing; stop being so bloody classist ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) I'll give you his own words on that: Be honest with yourself; playing the Eton card was a bit of a petty swipe, wasn't it? ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

Hehe well it's meant nicely! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) No, you need to assemble a menagerie of marmosets, ocelots and other rodentiae that could be useful around the house... but with your gothic shed, perhaps there's mileage with the career in leftfield property development!!! ;D

Where someone is educated should not be a slight on them, so long as they put it to good use. Really stupid thing to say Jules! Next you'll be telling me, when you have kids you wouldn't give them all the special breaks even if you could afford it!
