Honestly hope Gretna can get through this, but it looks pretty bleak for them SPL didn't help in not letting them play their home games at their home ground (isn't the ground they now share something like 100 miles away? No wonder they get so few fans...), but ultimately they depended on the generosity of one man who's had to withdraw his funding, and they didn't have any means of support otherwise. Another club living beyond its means, sadly That said, though, how many clubs nowadays can live within their means and still hope to compete with the top teams in their respective divisions?

Well, I guess it's debatably lunch time now... doesn't look to be any news, though maybe they'll have a press conference later one way or the other?

It probably would have been better for the club to have stayed a division lower until they could upgrade their ground to SPL standards, I'm guessing? *Man who is very useful day after crisis*

my adopted team.....280 goals in 3 league seasons and now this having a town population of about 1500 and playing miles away from said town doesnt help though

There's breaking news on SSN saying that a potential investor will look at Gretna's finances today.
