Well no surprise there. However I also blame many of the players and the FA hierachy! Mclaren should not be the only one to take the blame. English football is a bloody joke!

Barwick needs to fall on his sword, and i suggest a public flogging for Lampard, Gerrard, Joe Cole, Sol Campbell, Scott Carson, Gareth Barry, Wright-Phillips, and a hanging for Wayne Bridge!

Sack everyone and start from scratch. Promote Pearce and the U21's to become the full first team squad!

So who's likely to be the next manager? Mourinho would be my ideal choice - think of his first year at Chelsea; fast attacking football, putting the opposition under pressure, big names working together and gelling as a unit. That's what England could do with. Realistically, we might be able to tempt O'Neill, at a stretch, and I wouldn't complain about him - otherwise, we're gonna be stuck with someone like Sam Allardyce He wasn't bad at Bolton by any stretch, but I can't see England being able to play the way he had Bolton going. Harry Redknapp's not such a terrible choice, considering the alternatives...

Mourinho is the best and only choice for me. He is a proven winner at the highest level, he has experience working in the English league and he oozes confidence and charisma!

He's also proven he knows how to get the best out of Joe Cole, Lampard and Terry, for instance, and they all like him - could be just the motivator we've been looking for!

I'm just not looking forward to the supercilious sneer on his face if he gets appointed though - "Looky here, who came crawling back to... The Special One!" Mourinho is Onanism made Flesh!

I'd have Mourinho, it's win win. If he fails, everyone gets to see him for the useless fraud he is with 50,000 people calling for his head.
But if he's successful I wont care too much that it's under him, I'll just be happy for England.
