Well, two actually to start with. Downfall is on More 4 tonight at 9.10pm. I know the story of Hitler's last days isn't ideal Saturday night fare, but well worth recording to watch later. Certainly one of the best war related movies ever. Bully is on at 2.30am, so another to record. A film about two small town slackers, long term friends, but one treats the other very badly. They meet up with two girls who are appalled by the bullying and urge the victimised boy to take some revenge. Ultimately they and a small circle of friends, plan and execute a murder. It's a Larry Clark film, so expect lots of gratuitous nudity

Dog Day Afternoon (11.45pm, BBC1). If you haven't seen it, then don't let another day of your life pass before correcting that mistake. The story of a bank robbery that turns into a media circus, it is THE funniest drama I can ever remember seeing. Al Pacino every bit as brilliant in it as the bisexual bank robber as he was in the first two Godfather movies. Would've swept the board at the Oscars had it not come up against 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' in every major category.

Thanks for the tip JJ! If you tell me you're watching The Wedding Planner tonight though, then I'm thinking you've got issues. ;D

The Wedding Planner? Now that IS shit!!! John Hughes film's are ok - The Breakfast Club is one of my favourite all time films. And Pretty in Pink is pretty decent as well. But wasn't he also responsible for the Home Alone series?!
