Yea but he would, wouldn't he! I ain't read it yet, but there's def more to this than meets the eye Morton! Either way, players on 1 year loan deals from abroad rarely do well, they'll be back to brazil, by next year (my prediction) Thats a big prediction there Morton. Tevez has shown flashes of what he can do on the International scene, and Mascherano has been hyped up to be the next Redondo or someone. See how they get on....

yes (only on loan, according to ssn) What does he hope to acheive? i heard that arsenal were interested... Surely makes more sense? South Americans usually have trouble adapting to the style of play in the Premiership, to be loaned out to a club in the Prem gives them both a chance to see how they get on without being tied down to a lengthy contract.

I think Ambramovich has had a say in it how? As Ambramovich owns the company or whatever, hes hardly gonna want to sell them to 2 rival teams

Corinthians are owned by MSI, MSI owns Tevez and Mascherano......MSI is mostly owned by Boris Berezovsky and ROMAN ABRAMOVICH
MSI dragged Corinthians from financial collapse...led by 'front man' Kia Joorabchian.
Born in Iran and educated in Britain, Joorabchian first appears in the UK’s media in 1999, when he and a partner bought an 85% stake in the Moscow newspaper ‘Kommersant’ using an investment fund based in the British Virgin Islands. He soon sold it to the Russia Oligarch (ultra rich and powerful business men) - Boris Berezovsky.
At the beginning of the 2005-06 season, MSI was behind an attempt by Kia Joorabchian to take over English club West Ham United. The plan was officially abandoned in November of the same year, when agreement on a valuation of the club could not be reached.
Iranian businessman Kia Joorabchian said he would make £100m available for new players if his takeover plans for West Ham are successful.
Joorabchian, who heads the London-based Media Sports Investment firm, is planning a £200m takeover bid.
"There is huge potential there," said the 34-year-old.
"There's no point in buying West Ham unless you are going to invest in turning them into one of the top teams in the country."

GB & Arnie are right about the links between Joorabchian & Abramovich.
Abramovich went to Boca as did Mourinho in the match Corinthians & River where Higuains 2 late goals started a riot that saw Mourinho being chased from his box ;D to run the rule over Tevez & to River to see Mascherano prior to the deals being done.
Corinthians are/were heavily in debt(only very few fans watch the new format the Brazilian league has adopted) so where did the money come from ? MSI has no business model to speak of so where do their funds come from.
Add to this Berezovsky another criminal on the run from justice was also in Argentina apparently talking to Aguilar & Macri chairmen of River & Boca respectively. He has also offered to pay for a new Corinthians stadium. He is also a close associate of Abramovich & Joorabchian.
Abramovich links to CSKA Moscow as sponsor means that a club without the financial wherewithall can pay players multi million dolllar salaries ie some of the Portuguese NT players to end up in Moscow not to mention the likes of Cavenaghi another highly rated striker at Spartak(who was also being chased by big clubs across Europe) & then sell these players conveniently to Chelsea at a low price ie Jarosik.
It stinks frankly as does the tapping up of kids all over the country from Bristol Rovers to Leeds(courtesy of the ex youth coach there what a traitor he is).Abramovich will stop at nothing to maintain Chelseas grip on division one & to try to gain a European trophy.
As for Tevez & Mascherano not settling in.Well in the past with the likes of Mirandinha Marinelli & co you would be right. But there have been sucesses with Ardiles & Gilberto Silva. Masche & Carlitos are proven internationals who have yet to reahc their peak for a while to come.
West Ham fans should be in for a treat unlike with Scaloni who would be lucky to make a Primera team in Argentina.
