I lived in Moseley/Balsall Heath in Brum for years, but everyone round there had pretty light accents and not too much freaky lingo! Not like the kids I knew from out Stourport way!

My best mate was raised in Letchworth, so he told e all about that. Plus we all went down there.

Quite funny one of them was my lodger for a while and he'd get very upset if people called him a brummie, he'd correct them and say 'I'm from stafford' get even more upset when the retort was 'still a northern monkey'
