It's natural I bet if you saw a Derby fan you'd give him a punching, IT'S NATURAL TRIBAL INSTINCT No mate, don't judge me by your standards Vocal banter is fine, violent physical interaction of any sort is not! noticed your fans doing the opposite of that last weekend

but now you get beat every week in the championship you get 15k ;d Would you like to guess what Newcastles attendances were before they were good? ;D ...and I'd like to point out, we pay similar prices to watch a much lower standard of football. So you're saying your crowds are low because the footy is poor, but slate Newcastle on the same basis?

The violence at the game was unacceptable and was perpetrated by people like yourself, not people like me who go to matches to watch a game.

Well, fair play to you, enjoy yourself, but my family has a history of football hooliganism. My dad used to fight every week and still has the scars from a fight with a Millwall fan, and me and my brother both like to fight at football matches - its our way and its good fun, we NEVER fight with anyone other than those who want a fight, we always ask first

So you're saying your crowds are low because the footy is poor, but slate Newcastle on the same basis? The football we play compared to Newcastle, is a big step down! I'm going to concede defeat here to avoid undermining my argument Although I still think Newcastles support is very over-rated and overhyped.

No worries mate, I'm not having a go - I just don't understand why people slate them all the time for what is largely a media created image (not saying some fans don't seek to perpetuate it mind you). I'd love my club to undergo the transformation that Newcastle did under Keegan back in the day - Reading and Wigan have experienced it to a lesser extent. Anyway, I'm going to said city tomorrow and really must get some kip! Laters
