when i went to st james park last season, i felt the fans were really welcoming and friendly and they are really passionate about football which is good unlike sunderland fans ignorant bastards (no offence nord) I went there a few years ago for fa cup (I think quater final???) and we went in a pub afterwards (we and about 4 other people weere the only blades in) and they took the piss out of us, not just friendly banter...
