The power of the PS3 will be unrivalled.
But the amount of games at the start will be poor, its a matter of playing the waiting game really.
I thought about getting a 360 just for PES online, but thought against it.
I can wait!

In all truth, I think it boils down to one statement for each console: If you want light-hearted fun at a relatively budget price, get the Wii. The graphics won't blow you away, but by my experience, the gameplay more than makes up for it. If you want a console you and your mates can all get together on, great graphics and a snillion additional features, get the 360. Now that the price has come down a little, it's pretty reasonable, the online play is spot-on (Sony have all but admitted they're gonna try to rip it off) nd the titles on offer keep improving. The PS3, in the opinion of myself and many professionals, is over-hyped, over-priced and falling short on too many counts. There's no noticable difference between it and the 360 except the price tag, and the games will be £70 each on release. Developers are being scared off, the technology is far from what they claim presently, and they'll be available in very limited numbers - you could be a long time waiting. By the time the technology's really been figured out, it'll be about £200 cheaper - until then, I'd recommend getting a 360 to tide you over. I know it sounds horribly biased, but I've been following all three systems almost religiously since I heard what the Wii could do - and the fact that at E3, Sony demonstrated their 'PS3' using an X360 says enough for me ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

The real draw of the Wii, to me, is the fact that you can get all the old games~ Maybe I'll actually be able to beat the first two Zelda games now... ;D Another Zelda fan ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Been one for as long as I can remember ;D

Their graphics card is actually weaker than the 360's too, which doesn't help. Eventually, they'll tap into all that stuff, and it should be absolutely amazing. Right now, though, they're far from it - as I noted.

Very expensive to run but yes ;D I actually was thinking about a Wii just for the drunken fun but luckily my flatmate saved me the bother by ordering one. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png) My last console was a GameCube and I still use it for Tiger Woods.

Can't wait for the Phantom Hourglass, since I'm probably not going to play Twilight Princess for at least a year, since I don't have my GC anymore, and I can't get a Wii just yet ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
