What's with the name change Jess? Think it's been agreed between board members that it suits me, I can only agree but there we go

Sam Hammam is set to step down as Cardiff City chairman, BBC Wales Sport understands. Former Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale looks certain to be confirmed as Hammam's successor within days. Ridsdale joined the club last year as deputy executive chairman, and has been heavily involved in pushing through Cardiff's new stadium project. And after years of delays over finance and planning, a "positive" statement on the stadium is expected on Tuesday. It remains unclear whether Hammam will stay on the Cardiff City board, but his influence is on the brink of diminishing, particularly if Ridsdale brings with him the expected new investment. Hammam took over as chairman six years ago, and has transformed the Bluebirds from a lower division club into an outfit leading the chase to the Premiership. The Lebanese-born businessman's dream has always been to build a new stadium for Cardiff, but he could now be forced to move aside to ensure the project is finally fulfilled. The £35m project for a 30,000-seater stadium and retail park has been dogged by delays and negative publicity for many years. Cardiff City council have been reluctant to give the project the go-ahead until the Bluebirds could provide assurances over the viability of their proposals. Under Hammam, Cardiff have acquired a debt of £30m and have been forced to sell many of their best players to avoid going into administration. Neither Hammam or Ridsdale were prepared to make a comment on Saturday, but the full details of the boardroom shake-up are expected to emerge over the next few days. Gotta say this came out at a good time.. no one cares about the result anymore. This will either turn out really good or really bad..
