Los Angeles Galaxy ....I figure they have Beckham, Ruiz & Donovan & if they can get some defensive support they should be able to make a run this season. Of course I say that and they are currently losing to the Colorado Rapids 1-0 first half, in their first game of the season.

My money goes on DC with them having Veron and Gallardo DC'll be challengers, but they won't go all the way - not a strong enough squad outside the first 11.

Interesting call there, GB - any special thoughts behind it, or just stabbing in the dark?

Interesting call there, GB - any special thoughts behind it, or just stabbing in the dark? I'm guessing our resident gangster likes the energy drink & is overlaying his love for that spiritual nectar for his MLS pick!!! ;D

Interesting call there, GB - any special thoughts behind it, or just stabbing in the dark? The latter They do have Juan Pablo Angel up front, Claudio Reyna in midfield & Jozy Altidore is handy aswell, but apart from that they don't look to be upto much.

They have a reasonable side; I don't think they've got enough to go all the way though. A play-off spot awaits them, IMO.

Thing is, it was from The Sun, so... The 'designated player' rule is certainly allowing them to attract some quality players, though - three years ago, I'd have laughed the rumour off, but it doesn't seem entirely unreasonable a prospect now (though I don't think he'll actually do it)

Not excited enough to watch the webcast, but I'm glad another team's being created, especially given how popular "soccer" is in Seattle Quite impressed at the turnout at MLS games this season too - averaging 16,753 a game so far across the board, with attendances ranging from 8,731 to 27,000. Not bad at all!
