Brazil beat Uruguay last night after the match ended 2-2 after extra time.
Pablo Garcia missed in sudden death followed by Diego Lugano to send unlucky Uruguay out.
Taunts from the Brazilian players led to an ugly scuffle at the end of extra time . Maicon & Baptista netted for Brazil with equalisers from Forlan & Abreu.
Mexico take on Argentina without their star player Nery Castillo.

Castillo did play & indeed hit the bar. Argentina had a touch of fortune as Guardado hit the post in the first half butthey played the best football. Superb free kick from Roman to put Heinze in. Catch Messi scoring the second .Sublime finish. Tevez fouled in the box for Riquelme to chip/glide in his penalty. Roll on Brazil. Argentina are playing beautiful passing one touch football. www.dailymotion.com/relevance/search/argentina+mexico/video/x2ionz_argentina-2-0-mexico-messiMagnificent .

Bad luck gw IWEDFM. Terribly disappointing result for the Albicelestes. A 0-3 defeat to a dull & very staid Brazilian side. After lighting up the tournament Argentina succumbed to produce their most inept display right when it mattered most. They choked ... big time. Until the introduction of Aimar they rarely threatenend & were caught out by an early goal from Baptista .Roman hit the post minutes later . The killer blow came just before half time Ayala diverting a ball intom his own net. Argentina pressed & were then caught on the break by Alves. Brazil were shocking throughout in a woeful advert for South American football committing foul after foul (& getting away with it) & continually timewasting. A catastrophe for the beautiful game. More & more defensive counter attacking football is taking over. Brazil were virtually Greece in disguise. They barely make it to the final courtesy of some very dubious decisions against Uruguay .....

I'm gutted Dunga should be sacked, thats not the Brazilian way to play football it is if they beat the Argies. Anyway the game was good and the Brazillians attacked better than the Argies, they were quicker and more threatening as the score shows

I agree Brazil deserved to win. It'll be interesting to see their new system when they play European teams
