we've got Bopp on trial
on my footy manager 2006 game - he was really good !!!
not 2 say he is a good player, hahaha
but ive heard he is,,,,,,,,,
only 22 n all,,,,,,,,,,
sounds good 2 me

I wouldnt get too excited people - he's been rejected by a bloody League 1 team, so cant be all that good (or maybe im just biased!!) He sent Gillingham down with his first touch in the last game of 2005! Bloody great lob from the half way line it was too. When he played, the crowd usually sang 'Eugene Bopp Bopp Bopp', but I would have preferred a bit of punk 'Hey ho, let's go Hey ho, let's go Hey ho, let's go Hey ho, let's go They're forming in straight line They're going through a tight wind The kids are losing their minds Eugene Bopp!'  |

Surely the fact the last 3 or 4 managers havent picked him for that reason should yield caution signs  He will spend more minutes on a weekend in a pub than on a pitch for the whole season  He has produced only a handful of decent performances in his time with us and was released due to our youth players coming through and the arrivial of Sammy Clingan (Northern Irelands version of David Beckham, quote from NI not Forest as we have yet to see his best). We are building our way back but I think we have made a huge mistake with the management appointment. If we were going togo with youth we should of kept Charlie as boss. If you sign him we will throw in Johnson too!! Nice guy, but finished as a footballer. Second thoughts, we will give you Johnson back either way!! |

Our side that struggled for 3/4 of a season and he wasnt even considered good enough for that! His best performances came before his horrific injury by Rob Lee. |

Barnes is absolute quality - he will be another that will move on to pastures new, if we dont show a massive improvement next season!! sorry Ipswich fans - feel like we've invaded a bit - i'll be off now!! |
