example - van der meyde - everton fans claims same about him and drink, fantastic at ajax - injured at everton, like bopp with his injuries
forlan didn't make it at scum utd, but now luk at him
kluivert terrible at milan, good at ajax / barca.........
i donno, i dont even think we'll sign him !!!!!!!!!( bopp, not kluivert ! )
but i feel it CUD be a handy addition if he settles and wants 2 play !

Still 11 goals in 77 appearances for a midfielder isn't all the bad...Could be a decent signing IMO, he's always been pretty highly rated

I've seen we're also in the chase to sign Chris Birchall, and apparently leading the race...Sounds good to me, he played well at the world cup

im sorry but getting players off port vale isn't what i think we shud be aiming 2 do , otherwise we'll be stuck in this league forever
however yeah he may be a good player
but i think picking up a few freebys cud be the way 2 go

Just because he's playing in a lower league, doesn't mean that he's no good? Did you see him play in any of the world cup games? Or even ANY games? I've seen him in all the world cup games, he was T&T's best player in the tournament. Seen a couple of Port Vale games he's been in too, a good player in my opinion. Look at Kevin Doyle... he came from the Irish League. That make him a bad player because it's at a lower level then the Championship?
