Possibly a bad time to ask as some of us won't have shaken our disappointment out of our system, but what do you think? Try to be as honest as possible.
With teams such as Wolves, Southampton, Ipswich, Norwich, Palace, etc all expected to be stronger next season, and the three relagated sides looking to bounce straight back up, my personal opinion is that the Championship will be even more difficult next year for Leeds to gain promotion. Can Leeds improve enough to be up there at the top come May 2007?

I'm being an optimist, but not crazy. So I said second place if that isn't clear.

Fuck it. I'm putting us up as Champions, regardless of my current feelings about KB

unless KB learns to play a different system, AND makes some good signings, then I fear we may only make the play offs again next season. Alas I fear we may miss out, and then maybe a new manager will get us there.

I was optimistic too. I reckon Birmingham and Palace will be the main contenders other than us next season, but with Dowie's job in flux and also the possibility of them losing AJ, I've chosen 2nd place. Leeds will improve next season with Blackwell still at the helm, that I am sure of.

Yeah Dowie has just left Palace, so I don't think they'll do very well next season (AJ will leave), Birmingham possibly West Brom, Norwich, Sunderland and who knows maybe Preston again will be contenders with us.

If KB can grasp the concept of a Plan B and C then maybe.
Oh and I think he's learnt NOT to use 4-5-1.

KB senior won't mess about if KB junior isn't getting the right results from the off....can KB junior handle the pressure? If he can, I say Champions....if he can't I say
"Martin O'Neil"
;D

Hmmmm its Leeds, so therefore i can see us either doing really well (ie. going up) or doing terrible ie. mid table. Its too hard to predict, but ill be an optimist and put 'go up as 2nd'

He'd be great for the job but seeing as he lives in Scotland (?) he wouldn't want to uproot his family, specially his wife so it's a long shot.

Well he's managed Norwich and Leicester down here before, so I don't think he'd have issues with family. Still, Martin O'Neill will be managing Manure the season after next, not us...
