Lifted from talking balls but there seems to be at least a bit of substance behind them, particularly the first. 1. Andy Johnson isn't playing at the moment (despite marginally improving his crapness the last few times he has played) because Milan has forbidden it. Apparently if he starts another match it will trigger a clause in his contract where we have to offer him one for next season. If so, then quite rightly Milan has told him where to go. Also there are suggestions that he has offered Milan the opportunity to pay him a (substantial) lump sum to play him the last few games not triggering the clause and if we stay up there can be talks. Quite rightly he told him to fuck off again! 2. Jason Jarrett was angry that the hotel they stayed at Plymouth was too far from the town centre. I'm a bit concerned, I've heard a lot about a possible drinking culture at our club recently. Apparently he also had the cheek to ask Kelly after the debacle of Plymouth away how many days off they would be having that week. Just rumours but interesting stuff.

More rumours: If we get relegated they will close 1 or more stands for next season depending on demand to cut overheads. Great. But I think with a decent season we can be getting 20k consistently like forest. Wortho has disciplined Johnson and Tiatto for either not going to or not sitting with the squad at the Norwich match. The Daily Mail says players aren't happy about this... Just unfounded rumours.

Doesn't look brilliant for you guys! But it's good tha Milan is taking a no-nonsense stance.

Not looking good at all mate. If Leeds can do alright from their tough run-in, I think it may be you or us that takes their place. I think Milan was a bit late to sack Kelly, but thats the only thing he's had control over. I think the culture at the club was wrong - they were unfit and it was pally and laid back. Worthington seems to have stuck a rocket up some people but it may be too little too late. I just hope the commitment of the last 20mins against Birmingham continues and if it does we will be fine. Confident Alex?

Personally, i am stil confident. It just doesn't seem realistic that we could be relegated. Don't know why. Lol. I think Leeds are going down to be honest, they have had a recent good run of games but i think their luck has run out already. And if it does go down to the last game ... Derby vs Leeds Hull vs Plymouth I know which teams i think will be winning those! (Hopefully)

You have a decent game against Plymouth there but I might be a little concerned if I were you that you only have 45 points, and so it would be very easy to drop in.
Not sure Alex, not very confident at all, but it probably will just take 1 win so we'll see. Anything can happen.

Oh and another rumour, Mark Yeates has returned to Spurs after a bust up with Worthington who thought that he was having a negative impact on the team.
Good riddance to bad rubbish an' all, lets hope its the start of many in a few weeks time.

I also think you only need one win, I feel it could even come against Preston who've not played well against lower teams at home (apart from Leeds)
I still think it will be Luton (natch), Southend and Barnsley with Leeds just getting out
If you went down they wouldn't shut stands, we had similar rumours but there's no need

The last part of the Birmingham game was much better than anything recently and Worthington seems to be doing all the right things - on and off the pitch. At least he will pick a reasonably balanced team. I also think Leeds may get out of it, but that it will be Hull or maybe us down there. Barnsley have a home game against Palace today and us next week - they could realistically get at least one win from those. I agree, if we are doing well then I think people may turn up to see a winning team even if it is division 3, shouldn't be too much down on this year. Chances are looking a lot slimer in catching Brizzle now...would you be confident in the playoffs?

I genuinely think Bristol are going to lose today and we should win which would narrow the gap with two winnable games for us. Of course it could not go that way but still
I'd be happy with any team over two legs in the playoffs, it's choking in the final that scares me, look at Hartlepool, Leeds etc who've all suffered after that

Hmm yeah Bristol have Carlisle away and Millwall away next week. i didn't realise that, you could well be in with a shout - it will be close anyway. Ahhh but a visit to the new Wembley would be something to look forward to.

Heard on local radio a couple of days ago that Norwich and us are being linked with Cambridge United striker Robbie Simpson.
This season - 26 apps, 16 goals with 14 of those in the last 15.
Given Cambridge are crap he has done well but its a huge step up for him and a bit risky. I wouldn't spend too much if we want him.

I have heard rumours about Mikael Forsell being signed for us for 1 mil in the summer, already a done deal apparantly... i dont know how truthful that is tho! Not very I don't think! From the beeb: Forssell set for £1m Hanover moveBirmingham striker Mikael Forssell is poised to make a £1m switch to German side Hanover. The Finland international could move when the transfer window reopens on 1 June, subject to concluding any contractual issues with Blues. The ex-Chelsea forward has been dogged by recent knee problems and unable to hold a regular first-team spot. But he said: "I want to be playing football and I think that going to Hanover is certainly a possibility." Forssell scored 19 goals in his first season at St Andrews in 2003-04 when on loan from Stamford Bridge. He was available for selection this season but has slowly slipped down the City pecking order behind Nicklas Bendtner, Cameron Jerome, DJ Campbell and most recently Andy Cole. Nice to see you around Bobcat anyway! How have you been?

Stephen Hughes finally off to Scottish side Hearts. Their manager says they didn't do any scouting on him last season but know his qualities. HA!!! More fool him! Thank fuck for that, best transfer news of the summer. We're also set to sign Marco Ferriera from Benfica on a seson long loan with an option to buy for £550k. Happy with this. Good rumours which seem as if they will happen soon!
