Maybe good enough for a relegation scrap with the Blades but not good enough for Europe with the Royals ;D

Not mine btw - ;D Reading are after Bobby Zamora. He was best man at Sidwells wedding and there wives are best friends. Coppell wants Sidwell to stay and this may be the answer to keep him there. Zamora AGAIN! Not too sure myself

Zamora AGAIN! Not too sure myself seems like a david beckham style rumour with it being all about the wives.

stuck in two minds really... id like another striker, with kitson as fragile as crystal at the moment it means we have only 2 main strikers and we cant loan long out (which he really needs to become as class as he can be) but i think at the moment its defence that looks the weakest... we can just about stretch midfield cover but we dont have much in terms of defence. also i do have to be honest, ive not been much of fan of zamora at any point. i know he had a good year last year but hes had a bit of an on off career. especially with spurs

true. but i wouldnt be all that suprised if we get a few in there as well as zamora. we were TRYING to chuck a fair bit of cash about before this season but no fooker would come so we def have a few bob there to dish out

im going with hammond on this one... its very hard to sign anyone in january as clubs arent keen on loosing their best without a chance to replace, also players arent keen to up stix.. and over seas players just arent worth signing mid season unless theyre going at the right price. and with the rumour that judas is after marlon, id be surprised if the hammers got rid of bobby too..thatd leave them with very few options up front..carlton cole and tevez are hardly prolific even by hammers standards

kind of got the impession they were willing to let any fooker go as long as they got some more cash in to rebuild. both have been rumoured to be surplus to requirements there i thought

well yer i thought the same, but thats press talk, i was trying to look with a bit of abject logic (not always a good thing in this game) they cant buy a goal just now..and to sell two strikers in one month i dont think would go down well with fans...tevez is showing signs hes getting there but thats about the only thing they got right now?...

would they really be all that fussed about losing 2 of their strikers who have hardly found the net this season?

well no.. if it was one at a time....for example...that period a few years back when we couldnt buy a goal and there were talks we were getting rid of goater...wouldnt mind getting rid of him, but when your not scoring you dont see it as a good move by the club to get rid of strikers... im sure west ham fans want new strikers and new blood but half waythru a season when your not scoring you dont like loosing two of your main strikers...goals are funny things they come in bouts...one minute your banging them in, next youve lost all confidence... if pardu gets marlon i see it as a no go for bobby

yeah you could be rite mate, but then again is he going to want to go there?? why jump from 1 sinking ship to another? cant really see charlton being able to offer him that much of a wage hike. us on the other hand are looking the far more desirable destination

coppell knows how to get the best out of zamora - he performed much better at brighton under coppell...

lol dont get too carried away....we may be higher in the league and doing well...but remember we're still a small club with a small wage structure to boot... im sure bobby has a handsome sum in his new contract and its one i doubt we can compete with.... we're still not an attractive club, hammers may be relegation bound on present form but theyre still a bigger club, more history and more money and theres still half a season to save himself...only if they get relegated and hes desperate to play prem football will he most likely choose us. as for marlon, you dont know his relationship with judas.. he might go just for him, stranger things have happened. and if they get rid of jimmy (dying days) hasslebaink then im sure they could offer him a pay rise

well he did sign him i spose (fook knows why cause he's an utter pile of shit : there is something propper fucked up going on at west ham mate, i dont think any of the current players there seem to be all that fussed about playing for them

coppell knows how to get the best out of zamora - he performed much better at brighton under coppell... no offence to brighton or ny other league club ( im no big headed prem fan just yet) but it is easy for a striker to look good in the lower leagues...example earnshaw bangs them in, couldnt make it in the prem tho...SOME make the step up flawlessly but bobby whent to spurs and died a death..and hes not really recoverd since!

i didnt think earnshaw was all that bad in the prem. he scored offten enough on the "very" few occasions he was actually given a chance exactly why i think bobby is spot on for us, fits the general mould of a young player with a point to prove..........same as 1/2 of coppell's buys
