Thoughts on the season as it unfolds. Good start; draw away from home on the opening day, followed up by a 4-1 home win and a very convincing performance If we can play like that consistently, we're gonna be very strong contenders for that auto promotion spot ;D

I couldn't make it to the game (midweek is difficult for me) but the reports suggest we should have been well ahead by half time. Very promising start, looking forward to Saturday

Had two very strong penalty shouts turned down in the first half and a host of missed chances - even an open goal where no-one could quite get to the ball in time. Definitely a win we deserved, and probably the 'right' scoreline too

2-1 win today, scoring 2 goals within 30 secs of each other to come back from 1-0 down. Would've hoped that this match'd be a goal difference booster, but can't complain about the 3pts Top of the league, having a laugh! ;D ;D

Luton are going up ;D Hmmmm. Luton played like they thought the game was going to be easy. Sloppy passing, weak in central midfield (we need Nicholls back or Keane playing midfield (as soon as we get a right full back fit)), Craddock seemed ineffective (held the ball too long until he lost it)(one goal disallowed for offside). Should have made more use of Basham? Burgess missed an absolute sitter, if he'd scored that it would have been 3-1 at half time, and we might have had the confidence to go on and get a couple more. On the bright side, central defence looked pretty good (Gateshead's goal aside) as did the 'keeper. Man of the match for me was George Pilkington. But three points in the bag, and top of the table ....

Winning ugly again, but at least this time it wasn't for lack of effort.
1-0 win over FGR; 3pts and a clean sheet - can't complain too much, though I had hoped for a few more goals. Don't think Craddock's gonna be taking any more penalties either... Over to you, Nico ;D

Bloody dismal today!! The Chester 'keeper didn't have a shot to save. Luton had trouble stringing a single pass together. Chester hit the bar with Tyler beaten.
Luton's keeper should have got MoM, apart from one moment of lunacy playing right back by the corner flag (ok, slight exageration there) he was steady throughout the game.

Definitely made hard work of getting the point today, no doubt about that. Sounded like Nicholls was trying to gee the players up, which is a positive, and we're still undefeated... but apart from that, I really didn't glean anything good from the radio commentary

3-0; back to winning ways ;D 7 games unbeaten, 4 successive clean sheets, 2pts off the top and we play the leaders in a week. Exciting times! All that said, I find it amazing that some fans are calling for Harford's head Okay, I'll grant the performances haven't been amazing every week, but for fuck's sake!

Far too early to say - only one team gets auto promotion from the BSP, remember - but early signs are certainly encouraging! If we can make a seven-game unbeaten streak when we're playing badly (Pilkington [BSP's August Player of the Month] and Tyler aside), what's it gonna be like when the team finally gets in gear properly?

Ooh la-di-da! ;D Never been in a director's box in my life. Would love to do it just once at Luton, though, so that I could actually see and hear what the crowd's like! ;D

Plus it's Oxford United, hardly Real Madrid! Do L*ton have a directors box? Is it a load of recycling boxes turned up side down?
