... but not to his face..... *Glasgow kiss* Very true! Are you trying to imply Mr Harford is a thug? i seem to remember him, as a player, walking through an opposition team doing an odd goal celebration on the floor, stomping on who ever got in the way.....

Ooh la-di-da! ;D Never been in a director's box in my life. Would love to do it just once at Luton, though, so that I could actually see and hear what the crowd's like! ;D I only get in there due to my contacts, but i'd honestly prefer to be sat with the fans. Plus it's Oxford United, hardly Real Madrid! Do L*ton have a directors box? Is it a load of recycling boxes turned up side down? Hey! I'll have you know our boxes got a new lick of paint this season!

And did the painters have to walk through some blokes house to get in there? ;D

Just looked it up - it was against Watford, whilst playing for Wimbledon, who decided to do a 'dead ants' celebration. Somehow, it seems so much more forgivable suddenly ;D

Well, 2-0 defeat away to Oxford - the unbeaten run had to end some time, and in doing so Oxford have confirmed their position as probably the team to beat if we want the title. Whereupon you can see the major issue in this defeat. It sounded like a better performance than some of late, even when down to ten men, but once again we just couldn't hit the back of the net, which is becoming a notable problem now. Hopefully, Hatch's return will help that situation (we were scoring so freely pre-season!), but I'd like to think the team isn't gonna depend on his fitness...

1-0 win at home versus Barrow today; sounded like we could've had a whole hatful, but just lacked that clinical finisher once again. It's actually quite disappointing; following Craddock's efforts last season and pre-season, we expected him to be setting the league on fire. I don't know if the pressure's getting to him, or if he's suffering from a lack of confidence or what. He did well with Hatch pre-season though, and Hatch returned for 15 mins today, so hopefully that'll help him

Oh so frustrating yesterday, we had numerous chances; Craddock clean through three times, only the 'keeper to beat, messed it up every time. Luton should have had at least four goals, maybe as many as six, we were so dominant. Asa Hall had a great game, he seemd to have loads of time to control and distribute the ball. On the other hand Barrow were desperatly poor in midfield. And then we go and win it with a cross that fortunately went over the 'keeper into the far-side side netting. Hatch did play for about fifteen minutes, looked slightly rusty (to be expected) but with potential when he gets fully fit. There's a reserve game coming up, he'll get a run-out there, apparantly. Second in the table

I find it funny how Craddock always seems to score when Pilkington does. Perhaps we should get a defender in on loan and put Pilks up front?

WHAT A GAME!
2-0 and one man down after about half an hour, the mighty Hatters managed to come back and win 4-3, ending several weeks of worry for the fans with a performance that showed belief, passion and ability; all things that had previously been lacking.
I guess Big Mick's words after the Wrexham game did the job after all!
