So no real conviction then? You mean CG records your webcam exploits Not at all, I think it's important to have some experience of the real world - something that a lot of the younger MPs these days lack! Very funny mate, I don't have a webcam though, so your attempt to prod me is a failure!

Oh no, I'm entirely qualified - but we all can improve! How so? But I don't take that as an insult! Really, you see your mantra currently is 'I vote labour, because everything else is bad' But you can't substantiate that, and labours core values are being washed away to suit the current electorate! Is lying not a first prerequisite of politics ;D

Is lying not a first prerequisite of politics ;D You don't listen fella, or you won't - so why make the effort with you? As to core Labour values, it's tiresome, but it's also temporary, and it's the case with all the major parties at the moment. No it isn't, you cynical b'stard!!!

Which you are entitled to... for now! No, the erosion of core values is tiresome. You have a deeply tangential mind mate. Politics does sometimes involve avoidance or emphasis of various issues and aspects, which can seem like lying, however that's just sales - it's like calling an apartment "cosy" not "cramped" As regards Ken, he's still a good man in my eyes, and I regret deeply that he's been replaced due to a Conservative resurgence and an electorate obsessed with style over content.

So what is getting rid of the unions, and over taxing the underpaid?
I don't need a Jules crash course in politics, I know what 'spin' is, and certainly know bullshit when I hear it.
Fundamental flaw there, you can't see that the reason he wasn't re-elected was because he made serious errors of judgment, employed crocks who misspent tax payers funds and who are subject to criminal investigation (serious stuff) London needed a change.
It looks like labour will ignore the feedback they're getting. Which frankly is great as it will be their demise!

The country IS on its knees Jules just face up to the fact. Personally I blame English people mostly. Lazy fucks living on benefits all their lives really really fuck me off No mate, that's an opinion not a fact! I know it's not perfect but it's better than it was in 1997 - and I can back that opinion up with facts! They fuck us all off, the New Deal was meant to put an end to it, I suspect it's time to get tougher - and there was an outcry from the lazy about the ND, if you remember? I am unhappy with much that the government has done and things are most definitely not perfect, but I do agree with you that they have yet to reach anything like the depths plumbed between 1979-1997. Taxes may have risen. I don't really know. Some are actually lower. The income tax base rate is lower and VAT was reduced on fuel early on in the Blair years, but against that other indirect taxes have probably gone up. But then I also remember Kenneth Clark raising the rate of national insurance, and I think it was Norman Lamont who upped VAT to 17.5%, and in the 1980s it was the Conservatives who extended the range of things on which VAT was payable eg fast food. Also I know that mortgage rates are nowhere near the levels reached in the 1980s and early 1990s. And that is probably the biggest single outgoing for a large proportion of the population. I expect Labour to lose the next election, but things will not get better. It was the Conservatives who introduced the performance targets and started the obsessional 'performance' culture that we now live in. So that we are now so intent on ensuring that not one penny is wasted that we pay out millions of pounds employing people to monitor others in order to save that one penny! We're so busy being efficient that we are totally utterly inefficient. And it's also down to them that we hardly make anything in this country anymore thus leaving us with a permanent balance of trade deficit. And what a great idea it was to shut down the coal mines and privatise the public utilities. Very far sighted. Consequently most of our energy firms are in foreign hands and we are now reliant on Russia to maintain adequate energy supplies, as well as being held to ransom over the price of it. I could go on forever! Yes, Labour are getting a pasting at the moment (some of it deserved) and I can't see them coming back, but I am not looking forward with any relish to their successors.
