Hmmmm... trouble is IMO UK comedy hasn't been that impressive since 2000. All my favourites - Only Fools, Red Dwarf, Father Ted etc. etc. - were mainly late 80s and 90s. The only reasonable things since have been The Office and Two Pints. Little Britain was good when it was still a novelty. Now when you've got 12 year old kids you don't know coming up to you and saying "I am the only gay in the vill-age!" or even worse "EH-EH-EHHH!", it gets up your Arsenal.
Difference is Scrubs started across the pond in 2000 and that's one of my absolute favourites too.
.....still think I'm gonna swing my vote the patriotic way....!!!
