When weee are both... finished 'ere..... Why don't weee... 'ave a meal.... round the Chiiiii-nese... Or else.... I shall go.... off me nut.... Cos me stomach thinks me throat's... been... cut...

Tough poll. When the yanks do it well, it's as good as the British stuff. Trouble is, there's so much American produced dross out there, that it's hard to find the gems.
Malcolm in the Middle, Scrubs, The Larry Sanders Show, Cheers, Frasier and even Friends (in it's day) are/were all brilliant.
But the UK, (in particular the BBC) have produced literally dozens of top class comedies, and so I've had to vote for good old Blighty. (Looking forward to the next Two Pints of Lager episode, it's funny as fook!)

I'm a massive fan of good comedy I don't care what nationality it is. For example I really like Chris Rock and Lee Evans, pretty differnt from each other. English comedy probably is slightly better, but thats justs cos it matches our sense of humour.
Curb Your Enthusiasm is really good by the way, read some of the reviews on Amazon.co.uk, and if it's for you buy some of the DVD's they are really cheap on there. Thats what I did.

I'm a big Friends fan, but its heyday was between Series 2 and 6 I would say.
