If your prepared to brave it, Cardiff will provide a great atmosphere although its a shit stadium
Birmingham is always a good one too and Norwich is good as its really compact and you feel the atmosphere. I'm quite up for Hull this season though the most

What are the best away grounds to visit in the Championship. I don't go to many away games, so I'm wanting to know which ones are worthwhile. Don't say your own club, and don't go by whether you won or not. What are the best on atmosphere, facilities etc... I've ordered tickets for Barnsley already, anyone got any other good suggestions? Barnsley overall was a good day out, forgetting the football. It's a nice little ground altogether, but; the away fans can't see the scoreboard , the bar closes 5 minutes before the kick-off and the home fans were very poor. Although there was lots of legroom, the Barnsley fans coming and going from the centre were well behaved and welcoming, and there was no trouble. South Yorkshire Police, are completley incompetent, so beware, particularly after the match if you're walking back to the centre or the train station. I'd give it 7 out of 10

Molineux had no legroom and had chavs near our end and seriously, they were chavs like DDDW! Kept on swearing at us. Burberry clad idiots Some other grounds I have visited: Crewe - We got a whole stand to ourself and the food was alright. Can't remember the legroom, it was quite long ago... Plus I think the ref was so terrible I spent my whole time standing up Luton - Well, there was no legroom, but luckily I got to sit at the front! Kid looked like Rooney so we taunted him, plus I saw Monty ;d
