Convey signs new deal at Reading Bobby Convey Convey has scored seven goals for Reading Reading winger Bobby Convey has agreed a new three-year deal after being granted a work permit. The 23-year-old American, who played in all three of the United States' World Cup games, is looking forward to making his debut in the Premiership. Convey said: "I was delighted that last season went so well for me and the club. It was memorable to be involved in such an amazing achievement. "To be rewarded with a new three-year deal is a great feeling." Manager Steve Coppell said: "I'm extremely pleased that the process of getting a work permit has been completed successfully. "Now nothing is stopping us from signing him to a longer deal after an individually very successful season for Bobby, who played a full role in the team's success."
