cricket. There are few other sports in the world you can spend all day sat in the sun drinking beer and not being able to see the ball!! Its great fun. Was at TB on the saturday. Cricket wasn't great, but the day was excellent. Have also now learnt to take the missus with me so she can ferry my inebriated self home instead of getting the train..

(in a train spottering kind of way) Me too. The Tour de France captures my imagination like no other sporting event. The tactics are incredible : each rider and each team seem to have different agendas. Every day (of three gruelling weeks with only a couple of rest days) is different e.g. the French try to have a winner on Bastille Day. King of the Mountains, the accumulation of points, individual stage wins, time trials and the coveted maillot jeune (yellow jersey)! I could wax lyrical for another couple of hours, but you're prob. bored already if you don't get it.

Without Armstrong, I'd have put money on Ulrich, but of course he's not there either (or is that neither?). If Millar had been fit, he may have been the dark horse. It's the most open Tour for years. I wouldn't be surprised if we still don't know when they're on the Champs de Lyssee. P.S. - Check out the Tour de France thread with Pastie and Mr. Millwall.
