I sometimes wonder about people. In an earlier thread, it is suggested that selling Brunt for £2-2.5 million is good business. Don't people ever look at the stats and think first? This is the position. We are currently sitting relatively pretty, in 12th position, 14 points away from relegation. Without Brunts 10 goal contribution, we would be 17th and just 7 points away from relegation.
That to me makes a nonsence of suggesting Brunt can be sold. Unless you like the relegation dog fight that is!!

I don't doubt he scores wonderful goals but we need a consistent winger who isn't selfish and lazy.

The rumour was & maybe still is that you get a Blade in Kabba plus cash & we get Brunt.
Apparently(take large pinch of salt here) Aidy Boothroyd is a great admirer of the lads work ethic & technical ability ie a replacement for Mahon.

Brunty will ONLY go to a Premiership club. No disrespect, but leaving Wednesday for Watford is hardly a great move for the boy. He'll either stay with us or move to a Prem side IMO.
