Bougherra to Wigan for £2 million and Brunt is being tracked by West Ham. On Radio Sheffield last night apparently.
I'd sell both of them. Bougherra is good but makes too many mistakes and we've got Woody coming back soon.
Brunt is just an arse so if we can get money for him we can buy somebody better like Billy Sharp....

I don't think so RJ although he is light on his feet! Sharp would be a decent buy. Certainly knows where the onion bag is. And Laws knows all about him.

Prem is probably too big a jump for him, Wednesday have a shot at the play-off's so we have real potential for getting him to come to Hilsboro, especially if we sell Bougherra for £2 mill.

Not premier class yet. Wednesday would be ideal. however some of the lower lights in the prem may well be sniffing around!

Do you think Blades will want him back? Would he go back? Whats wrong with a new challenge? Not sure. I've heard on the grapevine that he's an Owls fan as well. Looks like McLean is off in Jan as well. I'm quite suprised because he was a Laws golden boy at Scunny but I can see why because h'es just not cutting it at Championship level.

IMO all three will stay. Macca, Magic and Brunt. I can't see any of them leaving. Bougherra - 2m? ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) That isn't going to happen, as you say H, he makes far too many cynical mistakes. 2m is an awful lot of money to pay for any Championship player, espcially one that can prove so costly at times. I like MB alot, saw him 6 or 7 times at the start of the season and he impressed me with his cool composure and ability to read the game well, but I still can't see us getting anywhere near a 2m figure for him, not just yet anyway. As for MacLean - well I can't see him leaving either, a big possibilty at the end of the season as his contract is up, but I think we will need to keep him if we have promotion prospects in mind, we all remember how he turned the game on it's head in the play-off final. We need players like him around the club. He'll get his chance to show us all what he is made of at this level, no doubt. If anything, I reckon, he'll be offered a new contract. Brunt - out of all three, I could see him being sold the most, I think teams are starting to take note of his lazy ability. Sturrock used to sum him up well..."Chris Brunt will one week play like David Beckham, the next he'll play more like Victoria" I think that sums Brunty up perfectly. When he pulls his finger out his ass he is capable of alot, we have all seen the type of goals he is capable of, whether his lazy attitude will wrench his chances of a move to a Premiership club, is something that is yet to be discovered. If he did go, i'd expect a fee of around 1m. As for Billy Sharp, H, he is a die-hard Blade through and through.
