In-demand Miller ponders options By John Sinnott
Miller has been with Sunderland for two years Out-of-contract striker Tommy Miller is expected to hold talks with a number of clubs this week after being released by Sunderland, BBC Sport understands.
The 28-year-old Miller, who signed for Sunderland on a free transfer from Ipswich in 2005, has been allowed to leave for free by the Black Cats.
Miller will speak to Championship clubs Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City and Coventry as well as SPL side Hearts.
He will pick which club to join when he returns from holiday on 20 June.
Miller made 29 appearances in the club's Premiership campaign of 2005-06 and started the first three games of the new season.
But the boyhood Sunderland fan became surplus to requirements after Keane's arrival and was sent out on loan to Preston.
He returned to the bench towards the end of Sunderland's charge up the Championship table, but his last game for the club came as a substitute at Barnsley on 10 March. Id be happy if it happened and he got back to his old form and fittness
