1st of all both had to go ive got no excuses for fuller and the davis one is a xrated tackle but other than that, but Fortune you are prem class and kept us in it today...
on today we have sent an email on refereing standards are they as bad as this at your ground.. me and my dad are going to send a email on the ref standards to stoke and to the fa... here is the email if you can and want to just to try and get somthing done... just send something..
Here is ours...
After attending the Stoke-Luton game today the 17th feb the refereeing decisions left a lot to be desired, to asking the question that its about time that standards were set by employing full-time referring professionals.
I bring to notice the way the Rugby Football League handles just that, their standards are absolute top-class, and its about time the FA did something about it.
In all my football watching career which spans a near fifty-year period, I have never witnessed anything like what happened today at the Britannia Stadium.
I have never walked out of aq football match yet but I came very close to doing just that, and, if I did I would never have returned to watch another game again, talk about attracting crowds, I meant what I just said, NEVER AGAIN.!
This also brings me to the second point I am making which is this, with so many refereeing decisions that were totally unbelieveable is to make me wonder at the prospect whether or not the referee had been taking backhanders from Luton, come on Justify yourselves by publishing the referees report and see what that says, as to why so many decisions went against the home team.
Now I am coming to the third point, I thing the integrity of the Stoke City board is again called into question. If you are buying and managing a club you dont keep making the promises of going all out for the promotion places and then never having any intention of doing so. Every season we have in July/August we are going all out for it, only to be met with the same old trite remarks of we need this player or that player, its time to put your money where your mouth is and start supplying the players to get us there. You cannot get promotion on promises, get your cheque books out and start spending. There is no way in this world you can get promotion on loan signings. Ask the likes of Derby, Birmingham, Albion Etc, etc. Gone the whole nine yards and spent on the people to get them to the promised land
Please Stoke City and the FA take time to read this and think about some of the points raised.
