I find it puzzling he is not being played UTB. He's worth a punt over the ineffective McAnuff.
At least he'd put in the work rate & is a better finisher in the box & actually chances on getting into the box a la Ashley Young.
Unlikely you'll ever see him back down your way though.Fee probably is £600K depending on appearances as a maximum.
Turner should invest wisely & after that well deserved draw against Wycombe (Robinson scoring again) promotion should be acheived.

I'll be honest with you mate, we haven't been the same team since he left, we drew 0 - 0 to Accrington Stanley in which we created nothing ... Went 2 - 0 down to Wycombe, ok fair enough we came back to 2 - 2 ... But still, we should be beating teams like Wycombe if we want promotion ... I have been speaking to our Center Midfielder, Ben Smith, he seems confident, ok we have picked up some injury's now to our already small squad, he says as a team we are looking to just make it to January, then improve on what we have ... Wait, i have the Quotes ... I bloody hope he is right, otherwise be a waste of petrol lol ... There is a problem with Theo mate, ok he works his bollocks to the ground, nobody can fault him for that, well he has to when he has Big Trev as his partner ... He also knows the game, he is always looking to make these runs and we give him the service, he just HAS TO hold back a bit, constantly offside, he would be League Two top goalscorer if he can just hold his runs ... I just don't think we are the same team without Lionel ... I really don't and i hope Turner can bring a few players in come January ... As for the money that we get for Lionel, that will go towards paying off debt i'm affraid mate ...

Sorry to hear that the money wont be reinvested in the squad. I always thought under Turner the Bulls were a well run club. I am sure some will get reinvested . I really don't like the thought of megabucks franchise FC winning this division. And Theo was like that here. He has the pace to get in without having to chance his arm on being offside. I'd recommend Turner ask in Blissett (Luther not Gary) just for a word with the lad & some advice because we all think he has real potential hopefully can bring you guys promotion. Should be three points against the Imps today.

Three points it was and all mate, well spoted on that one ... Was a game in which for the first half i struggled to reconise who had ten men ... Second half i believe Lincoln tired just that little to much to be able to stay in the game ...
I think yesterday, Theo was only caught offside about two times, improvment on the usual twenty two times it has to be said ...
Took two neutrals with me yesterday as well, ones and Leicester City fan, the other is a Coventry come Barnsley fan ...
Both were very impressed with Theo Robinson and wonderer what he was doing playing in League Two ... However for me yesterday i was fair more impressed with Dave ...
On a day when i felt we didn't look that creative and times, it was Dave who kept trying things when nobody else did, very good player for me this lad, wouldn't mind making him a permant signing ...
Cannot see Theo joining permantly, maybe if you go up into the Premiership which really, you should do ... Because he wouldn't get a look in then would he?
Just switched on Watford vs Stoke, take a big interest in you now because of Lionel Ainsworth ...

To be frank UTB I always think AB has undersold his reserves. Theo should have been packed off to division three & Joel Grant as well who is doing very well at Aldershot & is being eyed up several clubs in division three & four. However now Theo is there looks like he is buckling down. You are right if we do get promoted (a big if still) he wont get a look in as AB will look to bring in proven quality (though seeing as he hasn't clue about the foreign trasnfer market & English players are overpriced I cannot see from where. To be blunt we are punching well above our weight. Most clubs the size of Watford are in divisions three & four & until GT arrived in 79 we had been dwelling there for most of our non descript history. So its great to be where we are. Lionel was left on the bench again.I'd have subbed McAnuff at half time for Lionel who has the hunger at least. McAnuff looks like another prize turkey & a lazy one at that.

I have actually spoken to Lionel, in which i forgot to say, he absolutly loves Watford, says AB is a great bloke and one in which he is happy to play for ... So i think, my original post has been answered for me, he won't come back even if we wanted him back ...

Surely should get another chance after a terrible defeat to QPR ... I seem to think you have hit a very low level of form ...
I do hope Lionel rejects you come January, stupid for the young lad to sit on the bench ... He is better then that, bursting with pace! Also with a fantastic eye for goal ...

Boothroyd is a prize plum UTB.
If he had the correct team selection Lionel would have made a viable substitute. As it was chasing the game we had to field King Shittu & O'Toole.
I'm sure he'll get his chance.... I HOPE. To be honest I think AB is cracking under the pressure.
