and we cheated you in both You deserved to win at the Vic. However it was a bitter pill to swallow . Webbers goal was a real scramble & we did have a legitimate penalty waived away moments after. As for the game up in the Rome of the North we deserved a draw. Should be quite a physical contest today between two evenly matched teams. Hope King proves the difference. Shittu & Demerit can take care of Beattie.

Bad luck Mort. A draw perhaps tending to a Hornets win was the fair result. The Blades had their periods of dominance in the first half but afterthe break Aidy fired up the troops & Williamson capitalised on some neat work from Hendo to fire a rasping daisycutter past a hirsute Kenny (no longer a baldy) as the rain a fine mizzle came down. Hendo missed a sitter after Kilgallon fell asleep from a square bll by McAnuff but shot weakly straight at a prone Kenny. Tommy Smith stopped an almost certain Blades goal on the line as three players bore down on him after a scramble in the area but after that a great run & shot by King just narrowly over the game petered out. Blades lacked invention & Beattie is awful for 4M. Shittu had him in his pocket all game. Beattie had one good season moved & let money get to his head. No motivation or commitment an overpaid prima donna. Kabba did Brondby late on. Training ground bust up in the past perhaps ? Demerit was excellent aside from a diving clearance he nearly misjudged but we need Rinaldi in midfield. Ther is a dire lack of inventive passing there. However six points out of six is welcome . Next up its the Foxes & Mandaric. Hopefully a couple of loans before the deadline & Gosling too. Crumbs ! I think we are top of the league too with the only 100% record. But early days so nothing to really crow about.

To be fair they tried hard but there was no quality at all. But Beattie is a pile of crud.
You've been done on that showing. I thought Armstrong impressed me most.
