Could be four if we have taken John.... GB  I'd be more inclined towards Sharpe & Keogh but I doubt Scunny would let them go. Hopefully if we haven't taken John we could still take Sharpe or Liam Fontaine. We've already got young Henderson & Clarke as forward prospects. Some damn fine young talent. O'Cearuill the plonker goes to the Seagulls on loan when he could have featured in our team this season alongside Mariappa. This spending makes it more than certain Young will be sold over the summer.  |

John hasn't come to Watford. Williamson and Hoskins have signed for £1 million but are not available to play tomorrow against Stockport but will be watching in the stands and preparing for their first match against Liverpool next weekend (13/01/07).
At least it looks like that we have players who will be able to strengthen our attacking ability and may be able to score some goals.
Do you reckon Aidy will bring any more players in this january?

He'll definitely be looking to bolster the squad RC. However the cost means Young may leave in this window. I can't believe that AB wants to spend £3.25M (YES 3.25m on an average striker as John whos just a mercenary Bogarde).  NO NO NO Aidy.This is a prize turkey. For 3.25M we could land real talent with hunger Sharpe or Stokes & still have money left over for this summer if we plan carefully we'll be back stronger. Priskin needs to be used.There was a good reason why clubs like Stuttgart & Dortmund were very keen on Priskin (just search youtube). When he fills out his size & excellent ball control & vision will be invaluable. |

Don't know where RC has departed too GT. Anyway we are playing the ball on the deck & both these two players though they are a few sandwiches short of a picnic in the intelligence stakes like to play that way. Hoskins bagged two against Burnley & has been setting up goals too. Apparently he & Priskin linked up really well. Williamosn has had a storming season .If only he could add O'Tooles prowess in the box who knows. Onwards & upwards. Good to see the Millers climbing out of relegation trouble in division four as well.  |
