Watford striker Marlon King has vowed to come back fitter and stronger from his injury and says he will prove his doubters wrong. King's season was ended by a knee injury back in October but he says he will be back for the Hornets next season and says the time spent on the sidelines will make him a more resilient player.
The Jamaican international said: "I am going to come back from this a stronger person and a better player.
"I will make those people who doubt me eat their words by giving everything I have to the team, and by scoring goals."
Meanwhile, boss Adrian Boothroyd is expected to go into the transfer market when the window opens in January to try and replace last season's top scorer, with Southend's Freddy Eastwood being strongly linked to the Hornets.

Nugent is out of our price bracket & over rated. 5M ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) ? Eastwood is a hard worker but lacks nowse which is vital at this level witness Hendo. Anyway you cant get much for 3M. 2 strikers ? or 3-4 players ? Quite a conundrum for Aidy. Come on Ashcroft open your Belize locker with its ill gotten gains & give Aidy some Christmas cheer. One thing AB should look at is improving the European scouting network esp.Scandinavia as it suits our playing style more.
