22-year-old striker handed Watford chance

Watford Football Club have handed a trial to Rafik Djebbour.

The 22-year-old Algerian-born striker is currently plying his trade in Greece for Atromitos, yet he has been handed an extended trial at Vicarage Road after impressing during a three-day stint earlier this month.

It is believed that manager Aidy Boothroyd has asked for more time to monitor Djebbour as he considers adding him to his Hornets squad for the rest of the season.
