BEN FOSTER declared he is "over the moon" to be back at Watford.
The England keeper was given the all clear on Wednesday (August 9) afternoon by Sir Alex Ferguson to join the Hornets on loan for a second season, and Foster was at Vicarage Road yesterday (Thursday, August 10) to finalise the move.
Foster will be reunited with his team-mates this morning but, as part of the deal, he will not get the chance to play against the Red Devils at Vicarage Road on Saturday, August 26.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be back at Watford - I'm over the moon," said Foster. "It has made my season to be back at Watford with all my mates. All the people and staff at the ground were pleased to see me and I was pleased to see them. They are all really friendly and that is part of the reason why I love it at Watford so much. The year's experience I will get in the Premiership will be invaluable for me."
United's decision to farm Foster out for a second season appears to have been sparked by their capture of Tomasz Kuszczak, which was confirmed after the Watford Observer went to press.
The Polish international was left on the bench for West Bromwich Albion opening-day win over Hull City and did not even make the 16 for the 1-1 draw with Cardiff on Tuesday, fuelling speculation that he is on his way to Old Trafford.
Although he made no secret of his desire to return south, Foster admitted he had started to resign himself to the fact that he would be forced to miss out on the Hornets' Premiership adventure.
"There were a few points over the last few weeks when it has been off-and-on and I was starting to worry that it might not happen," he said.
"I thought I was going to have to sit on the bench at United and watch the boys enjoy it all. I would have been a bit gutted, but I'm really, really grateful to Watford for holding out as long as they did.
"They took a bit of a gamble because if the deal had fallen through they would have been in a bit of a mess but I'm delighted that it's finally gone through."
Welcome back Ben, always knew you would return...
