Found this on football-rumours.co.uk....had to post it just for comedy value! "Marlon King is leaving Watford for Charlton for 3.5 million! This transfer could leave Watford in serious trouble, making them almost dead certs for relegation. AB is trying to lure talents too but is failing miserably, therefore could table a 10million pound bid for Heskey!" Haha I'm just recovering from falling onto the floor laughing after seeing a flying pig in the sky. ;D This week should see some definites being announced ! I hope.

What about Carlos Edwards, he looked tasty against us this season as RB for lu*on... Can't remember Davis impressing tbh. He was the best player on the park at the den last season.

Read in the Express today that youve had 3 bids for Q.P.R defender Danny Shittu turned down.

................ This is what I've been hearing anyway: Martin Taylor from Birmingham for £1m and Robbie Blake from Leeds for 800k. Taylor would be a good addition, Blake knows Boothy from his time at Leeds, I'd prefer Helguson back tho. We still haven't signed anyone GB it fucks me right off!!

Watford announce their 3rd signing.
Sheku Kamara, an 18 year old centre back from Charlton follows Scott Loach and Claude Seanla on their way to Vicarage Road. And joins the ranks of Watfords promising young talents. He likes to think he is in the mould of Rio Ferdinand.

Question is why is he leaving the Valiants ? I hope its becuase he knows that they are signing some CBs ahead of him.
In this case I'm sure AB will work his magic. Still no experienced heads on the horizon.Could be a worry.
Some of those Togans like Salifou looked interesting if they could be tempted over.

Lots of time to go ovechkin8, lots of time!
Hopefully Charlton will live to regret letting him go.
I agree some of the Togans did look impressive, there left back played well from what I saw, I think some of them are at low level teams so its possible they may want to play in the Premiership and be attracted to the MIGHTY HORNS.

Thanks for the exaltations ! ;D
Watford are fighting FReading & Fulham for John Mensah the Ghanaian who impressed at the World Cup.
Hes only 24 has 34 caps & Rennes often dont demand large fees. He has pace & strength lacks a bit on the ball though. But he'd be welcome at the Vic alongside JD.

He sounds decent. We need another option for CB, as Malky was good in the Championship, but I fear top strikers like Shevchenko etc will tear him to shreds due to his lack of pace. Time will tell.

Chris Powell is here to give Stewart advice for playing LB. Now would you prefer to play Stewart with some experience or Powell with more experience?
My answer is Powell because Stewart has been dodgy on/off last season and against joe cole and other attacking midfielders he will be useless.

I slated Stewart for the most part of last season, but I think he progressed well towards the end. Hopefully CP's wealth of experience will rub off on him like you say.
It's good to finally have two half-decent players in the LB position, however one seriously lacks pace, and one lacks a good touch. Still gutted we missed out on Robbo, but we will fight on lol

He did improve towards the end, but if he is playing and you have J. Cole, Rosicky, Ronaldo/ Rooney or Shevchenko running at him would he be able to cope for 90 minutes especially getting back from his surging runs forward?

But will Powell be able to keep up with those sort of players still, thats the question, and, for me, the answer is simple - NO WAY! We have to make do with what we have I think. Still desperate for a creative attacking CM and a few other ones too, hope AB has some tricks up his magical wizard like sleeves lol
